If you've traveled through America than you know that this is not a country that has one climate. As one of the largest countries in the world, it can certainly be raining outside of a fire sleeve factory in Oklahoma and sunny in California. This means that if you're moving from one state to another you're going to want to make sure you understand the different weather conditions before you arrive. This will show you if this is the right place for you and let you in on what you'll be seeing throughout the years.

Georgia is in a humid subtropical climate, meaning that there are mild winters and very hot summers. If you're traveling here on vacation in January from your Richmond Hill realtors office than you might be happy that it is above freezing most of the time even in the heart of winter. But you will never get anything close to the temperatures at that time of year that you will see in states like Arizona or Florida. The average temperature is about 39 degrees Fahrenheit in the winter and 78 degrees in the hottest months.

There are lots of lush beautiful green spaces to enjoy for those living in or visiting Georgia and one of the reasons for that is that this is a state that sees quite a bit of precipitation throughout the year. If you're coming here from Toronto lofts you might not need to shovel snow but you should definitely be equipped with rain gear even in the winter months. Heavy snow is considered to be about three inches but some storms have brought in more than twenty inches of rain in a 24-hour period.

Many Georgia residents will tell you that one of the best times to visit this state is in the fall. While you're kids are moving into UWO off campus housing you could still be enjoying the sunny and cool days down here. September and October are the driest months of the year and you will find that the temperatures are still usually in the 70s. The first freeze does not usually come until November. But this is a little different for those living in the northern mountains.

While Georgia has experienced some extreme weather throughout the years, this is a state that is known for its outdoor spaces and climate, especially for that Toronto mortgage broker or storeowner from Alaska. That famous Georgia hospitality might just be a little because people can spend so much of the year out in the sun without it being too hot or too cold. But you should expect to sit out with a cool lemonade in the summer and to bundle up a bit closer to the holidays.
